So the recipe for cinnamon rolls is… buy cinnamon rolls? gee thanks
Hey, thanks, second dad!
I'll pay you back with one of my favorite recipes:
Kladdkaka (Swedish Chocolate Cake)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Butter
2 1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla sugar or extract
Breadcrumbs or flour
Additional butter (less than 1 tbsp)
powdered sugar to garnish
berries to garnish (I like cherries from our garden)
Preheat the oven to 350F
melt the butter in a pot,
add sugar, cocoa and vanilla to the pot and combine
add the eggs one at a time, mixing between eggs
add the flour
Line the sides of a springform baking tin (or several ramakins) with melted butter and breadcrumbs (flour also works),
Line the bottom of the baking tin with parchment paper
Pour the batter into the tin and bake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes.
The middle of the cake should be runny.
Let cool for 15-20 minutes (optionally you can also let it sit in the fridge to cool for at least 1 hour) before un-tinning and serving
garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar, whipped cream, ice cream, and/or berries.
Thank you for being my dad, Dad.
My dad was the best cook but I was always the baker in the family. I miss baking for him and I especially miss his cooking. I really wanna bake those cookies!
Thanks dad <3 I've got a dad joke to share with you! What is the clock's favorite time? 6:30, hands down! 🙂
You all are amazing! ❤ cant wait to see your family grow!
Hey Dad! The other day my shower drain was clogged so I grabbed a screwdriver. My roommate said, “how the hell did you know the drain cover has a screw?” I thought wait… she’s right, there’s no way I would just know that! Well, I realized that I had watched your video from years ago and remembered all this time. Thank you so much ❤
Thanks dad!
these all look so great!! 🙌
when measuring flour, don't just scoop the measuring cup into the bag of flour; you'll wind up compressing the flour in the cup and the end result is that you'll have more flour than your recipe calls for. use a spoon to move the flour from the bag to the cup. add flour until the cup is overflowing, then scrape the excess off with a straight edge of some kind; usually a knife.
also, if you don't have brown sugar, you can make your own. measure 3/4 of a cup of regular sugar, then remove two teaspoons of sugar and add two teaspoons of regular molasses. do NOT use 'blackstrap' molasses; it has a bitter taste.
I all sincerii, do you think many moms follow your channel?

My dad recently passed, and your videos just make me bawl my eyes out now. He loved chocolate chip cookies, especially with almonds. 😢
Thanks dad! I always love what you make!
This might be a strange comment, but in a world where a lot of men still see cooking and baking as a thing for women (my own father included), I really appreciate you being the one to share and bake these recipes. I know not all guys are like that, but it still brings a huge smile to my face when I see a guy just be positive about that stuff. So thank you, Dad!
Early! Your amazing at cooking ❤
