My mother regularly Burns Mushrooms when she is not paying attention – it may be hard to overcook them – but YOU can do it
Good to know I always wait till last when I add mushrooms. Now I don’t have to worry.
Your the best, Dan!
I do most of the cooking at the house, other than holiday meals, but now i know this is a perfect item for my wife to cook as she likes to use the smoke alarm as a timer, lol
You can. If burning means overcooking.

"Dont sweat the mushrooms" pun intended?
Dan is a dreamboat
I recall cooking some and, after much distraction, returned to find them tiny, very brown, and quite overcooked.
They were still good, tho. Lol
I have literally set mushrooms on fire before by overcooking them in a pan. (I forget I'm cooking sometimes)
Why do they have to do him dirty like that? He looks like he’s having a stroke in the thumbnail.
Thank you for the mushroom cooking tip😊😊😊😊😊
Dan. I sure wish you'd start shaving and look more presentable.
I need to can some with the price of them lately.
Can’t overcook mushrooms? You obviously haven’t tried to eat canned mushrooms. It’s basically raw vegan escargot.
Don't rub the mushroom tip.
Too short and a repeat from a longer what's eating Dan video from a few weeks ago….. And is a little bit off because it doesn't suggest exactly how long you can cook the mushrooms before they actually will overcook…. I have used too much dry heat in the past and way over cook them and they were no longer really very palatable.
If you can't overcook mushrooms, then how come so many chefs make a big deal of how we shouldn't be washing mushrooms under running water? Couldn't you just cook out whatever water it absorbs?
I don't eat rubber.
Challenge accepted! (fires up the crucible)
Not true, I have. Skills…
They need to take some tips from the Bon Appetite test kitchen
"Don’t sweat the mushrooms" HAH! 🥴😁
That lobster seemed hella annoyed.
