RECIPE:
1. ½ medium onion.
2. 2 tbsp olive oil.
3. Fry for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.
4. 2 cloves of garlic.
5. 450 g (1 pound) extra lean ground beef.
6. Cook for 8 minutes.
7. Spoon away any excess fat if there is a lot of it.
8. Boil a saucepan of water.
9. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
10. 220 g (8 oz) conchiglie or other shell-shaped pasta.
11. Cook al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
12. 1 tbsp tomato paste.
13. ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard.
14. ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning.
15. 450 g (2 cups) tomato sauce.
16. Let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
17. 120 ml (1/2 cup) whipped cream.
18. cook another 3 minutes.
19. Basil (optional).
20. Parmigiano-Reggiano (optional).
