Yum! I think I'll make the French bread tomorrow, I homeschool my 7 kids and sometimes for lunch we like fresh bread with butter or jam and some fruit for a simple yummy lunch.

Thank you. It looks delicious. I never baked bread until my daughter had to go on a special diet. I baked bread twice a week until our local store started selling the same type of bread. Fast forward to age 65+ and I'm back to baking bread, not because I have to bake it, but because I enjoy the smell of baking bread and the taste of freshly baked bread.

Does this French bread make good French bread pizza? That's one of our go-to lunches when I can get French bread on clearence. I used to get it for 50 cents a loaf, but lately the price has jumped to $1 or more. I refuse to pay that, so I'm hoping this recipe will be a good replacement. 🤞
