🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:

ℹ️ Feel free to add your favourite dried herbs and spices to get the flavour you enjoy the most.

ℹ️ Soak lentils for 2-8 hours. Soaking lentils helps its digestion and reduces cooking time.

ℹ️ You can substitute psyllium husk powder for chia seeds or flax seeds. Replace it with an equal amount of ground chia seeds or ground flax seeds.

  1. Just made these. They are delicious warm with honey and butter. I used a muffin pan because I let the lentils soak too long and the dough was more like batter. Will def keep this recipe and use again and again. Thank you so much for sharing it!

  2. Hi, i love your channel. I have tried these twice and both times the batter never thickens. I did use a combo of milled flax and chia in place of the psyllium husk. It remains the consistency of pancake batter even after letting it sit. Could it be too much air from my high speed blender?? Help!

  3. We decided to try this today. It looked so easy! To be fair, we didn't follow all the instructions to the letter. First, we soaked the lentils and quinoa for about 8 hours. Then, we probably weren't careful enough to drain all the water. We took the instruction to 'blend until smooth' very seriously, so we put it in a high speed blender on the highest setting for 30+ seconds. After adding the other ingredients (we used flax) we quickly realized that what we had working with was very different from what you have in your video. We added another 1/4 cup of flax and stirred it in well. Still too thin. Well, we thought quickly, poured it into a greased sheet, sprinkled some sesame seeds on top and popped it in the oven. I think it should be ready in another 5 minutes.

  4. One of the first things right off the bat that I would change in this recipe is you never use quinoa without rinsing it really well even if it says on the package that it’s been rinsed already it still has residue on it, that’s very bitter and can affect the recipe greatly.

  6. Hello. I want to call to your attention what I think is an error in your recipe involving lentils and quinoa bread. Your recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of lentils and 1/2 cup of quinoa. But the ounces you reference are 16 oz of lentils and 2 ounces of quinoa. That is impossible and I believe incorrect. The first is a 3 to 1 ratio of lentils to quinoa and the second is an 8 to 1 ratio of lentils to quinoa. Therefore, my belief is that you're presenting an inconsistent recipe.

  7. I just knew that I was going to mess this up. But to my delight it was delicious, fluffy and flavorful. I did substitute the psyllium husk for ground flax seed. It still came out wonderful. A quick and easy recipe. Thank you! My regards to Lancy. 😋
