Put nothing in that H2O wasting machine! All pre prep you need to do before putting them in! Your already half way done washing them by hand! Remove that trash and replace it with a beverage cooler!
Noooooo Never , I don’t like a dishwasher for the most part. I have expensive knives & cookware, I’ll wash by hand always, dishwasher soap is very harsh for a reason.
I put wooden stuff in the dishwasher. It’s fine. They’re cheap, so I started doing the convenient thing. Nothing happened. But, I would never take that chance with good, expensive knives.
I'm curious to know what is a food safe mineral oil. 😊
Expensive Utensils… wooden spoons? How much are people paying for their wooden spoons?
Also dangerous for unknowing hands reaching in where they can slice themselves.
Doing any more than rinsing to a wood spoon should be a felony
The biggest factor is the super high temp of the water can damage them.

Tards use wooden utensils.

Please don't use mineral oil on anything (wooden or otherwise food related) use olive oil its much healthier
The vibrations will crystalize the steel in your knives, and then lenses of stel will pop out of the cutting edge.
BS
Dishwasher does not wash for even 1 hour, and half that cycle is drying.
👁️👄👁️
Me right now looking at my knives and wooden spoons in a 3 hour dishwashing cycle.
Yeah I wouldn't worry about that knife. It looks like cheap stamped steel and probably cost under $10.
That said, I always hand wash my good knives.
Should-no, will I- yes 😂
Still gonna do it with most of them because ain't got time for that.
This information is so old
I tried putting the wooden spoon in the dishwasher while it still had some food stuck on it… The machine couldn't get it out
What’s expensive about a wooden spoon? 🤨

Good pans like good knives should never go into a dishwasher.
Don’t forget to also wash the handles of utensils with soapy water. Nobody likes a still-greasy handle, but apparently my roommate doesn’t care
My bamboo spoons are about 20 years old and cost $5 . Not too worried
