Dr. Fuhrman Green Smoothie Recipe Review



In this video, I’m showing how to make Dr. Fuhrman’s high-nutrient density green smoothie that I found on page 95 of Dr. Michael Greger’s newest health book, “How Not to Age,” and I’ll give you my honest opinion as to what I think of it.

Dr. Fuhrman’s high-nutrient density green smoothie ingredients:
8oz baby kale
2 1/4 cups frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 T cocoa powder
1 T ground flax seeds
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk

Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth (it takes awhile). The smoothie has a nice chocolate undertone, slight sweetness from the blueberries, but tastes muddy, and grassy (from the kale). It might taste okay with more bananas and an additional tablespoon of flax seeds for thickness. I did feel FANTASTIC after I drank it though, but I didn’t enjoy how it tasted.
