Dutch Oven Bread

Starting 2025 with a goal to live more sustainably 🌍✨ Learning to make my own bread and cook from scratch—small steps, big impact! Dutch Oven Bread 🍞💚 🌎

Recipe:
• 4 cups flour
• 1.5 tsp instant yeast
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 13.4 cups warm water
• 1 1/2tsp salt

-Mix flour, olive oil, salt, warm water, and yeast in a bowl. Cover and let rest in a warm place.
-Let rest 4-6 hours until risen
-Transfer to a Dutch Oven Sprinkle with flour.
-preheat the oven at 450°F. When ready to bake, score the bread with a sharp knife or razor, making an X or a hash mark. Cover the pot and place it in the oven.
– After 30 minutes, remove the lid, reduce the oven temperature to
350°F, and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes until the bread is nicely browned. Allow the bread to rest on a rack for at least 30 minutes so that the interior finishes.
