Just one question: what is the cast iron container you're cooking this meal in? I don't think you mentioned it during the video.
Cast iron is not delicate, nor is the seasoning. Yes you can scratch the seasoning, it will get reseasoned with use or with re seasoning. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO USE METAL UTENSILS!
Man, thats trailer park eating at its finest.
Nice. You forgot the papeika though 🙂. It seems to be a traditional chicken seasoning. I like a little seasoned salt too, although there is probably enough sodium in the canned soups. I always season meat or chicken separately before putting it in. I would probably throw in some celery and extra onion, and maybe some additional seasonings, but that's just me.
Your recipe was the first one i made for my first time using a dutch oven with charcoal, one word ! AMAZING one of the best chicken dishes i ever made
looks great. heat is set up not by size.
copied it all was very good recipe thank you
metal utensils in cast iron is how the asians cooking in a wok got micro amounts of iron and staved of anemia… it won't hurt the pot or the human.
ooooh that looks good.
it's pronounced wustershire 🙂
Nice cook,looks really good..
nice video…thanks
Why did you stop making cooking vids, come back! 😀
nice vid! not pronounced Worchester Shire though…I know, i know, nit picking. Plan on using this recipe next month. Thanks!

Only thing i'd be worried about is the coals falling in the food lol but otherwise looks yummy!
Just a thought or two: use a whisk for the liquids (seasoned cast iron is NOT as delicate as stated), start by sweating the onion/garlic, saute the mushrooms (this releases the sweet/savory goodness), and remember that Worcestershire is NOT pronounced as it is spelled (thank the Brits for that).
I've done this many times. You can add more ingredients at once, then stir for quicker preparation. Adding dry french onion soup on top (half a package) works good instead of all that garlic. Cream of chicken soup and/or cream of celery would add a lot of flavor. Par boiling the chicken is very smart especially if you are new to charcoal cooking as the way this recipe is shown and the short time period of cooking (I'd use 2 and a half hours) and the lifting of the lid so much and so early can easily undercook the chicken leading to …!!!
Pretty good video ms!! I will certently make one like that !!!! THANKS!!!
Its pronounced Wooster sauce. Will try this recipe thank you
You said 14inch how many quarts is that?
can you cut the pieces smaller if you want?
She did say they were using a 14 inch.
That looks fantastic. I don't have a "Camp Oven", so I have to do mine in the indoor oven. What temp and time would that translate to?
Looks great! Thanks for sharing.
What SIZE dutch oven are you using? Vital info. to begin with.
Then DON'T make it! Looks easy as heck to me, and yummy, too!
That looks REALLY good! Fantastic job! I'm gonna try this one!
looks good, but it looks like it's too much to go thru
Did she ever refresh the coals?
Yes you can use a metal spoon in a BLACK dutch oven, I have two dutch ovens and I use only metal spoons, and my dutch ovens are fine, I have three cast iron skillet and a Lodge Pro Grid/iron Griddle as well, and I only use metal utensils.
I sure looks delicious; I bet it smells amazing too. Thanks for the recipe and the cooking tips. Subscribed.
Im sorry, but if you have to ask that question. You should probably ask your mom for help.
That shit looks nasty.
Ewwwwww
This may sound like a stupid question, but is there a substitute for the "Dutch Oven" for those of us who would really like to try this dish but don't have one.
Is that the only way to cook with a dutch oven? I wasn't expecting the coals.
Cooking this now thanks for the recipe looks good
That looks really good.
now that looked good, I would have threw some smoked sausage in there also
lol
im starving now…..thanks
You can cook it for eternity it's still gonna SUCK! SUCK! SUCK!
I just finished cooking. (I think) Took me 90 minutes @ 375 after rotating the chicken after 60 minutes. The chicken looks done all the way through every breast, which I assume is the most important thing. As you may have guessed, I am far from an experienced cook. Cheers! 😛
sorry i guess it depends on the portion you are cooking i should have said 1:45 – 2 hours
45 minutes @ 375 was not near enough time. When I checked underneath the surface it was still raw. I'm still cooking stand will post how long I had to cook it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
375 degrees about 45 mins make sure chicken is cooked through
