  1. Clean all the husk and silk off the corn. Cut the ends straight so the little poker handles stay in. Wrap each ear in a wet but wrung out paper towel. Put not more than two ears in the microwave at a time. Cook on high in two-minute increments; rewet the paper towels with a spray bottle if you need to cook it for more time. And turn the ears of corn (flip them bottom side up) after each two minute run to keep them evenly cooked. For "street corn" flavor, squeeze lime juice and add some garlic salt into the spray bottle of water.

  2. Love all the recommendations about cutting stem off and removing the silk by squeezing the husk at the end. Although I still like to boil for 10 mins as I reserve the sweetcorn water to make soup or soup noodles.

  3. 🎉 Lisa Rocks! So glad I tried it! Cut a little off the top and “unwrapped” the beautifully done corn on the cob!! Delish! So much faster than boiling water! Saves water! I’m thrilled! Can you tell?! 😂
