Bro what do you do with the onion 🧅 in the first recipe?
thanks for the video
I grate my onion and use crushed canned tomatoes, no need to throw out onions which is so wasteful.
BRAVO my new friend 😁
Husband material….( I have an eye for these kinds of things.) 🧐😅
You are funny.
Wow
every time I here the intro I think of ZeFrank gags
"Butt cheaper, I'm sorry but, cheaper"
You'd have to be dumb to just throw out a whole onion.
Josh. Are you Italian. Delicious. Pasta Aliao..
Msrcella Hazan's bolognese is THE best thing since sliced bread. (And it's also really good with crusty sliced bread.)
Just made the Alfredo, it's sooo nice !!!
I used Kraft shredded Parmesan and it was definitely acceptable although not the most cost effective
That same exact can of tomatoes is $8.99 at my grocery store… I think something could be said about the cost of living differences. It’s probably still cheaper to make it at home but it’s certainly not that cheap in my area
For the tomato pasta, a deeper flavour can be achieved by simply dicing and sautéing the onion instead of adding the whole thing raw. A light sauté will add a light sweet note, but you can go as far as you like to make the sauce richer and sweeter. Beyond that some finely chopped garlic goes a long way and you can always infuse the sauce at the end (off the heat) with some basil stems (chiffonade the leaves and add last minute to the dish), might bump the price up a little bit, but definitely adds more to the dish than the cost.
Thanks josh, I’m gonna use this in my restaurant and mark up the prices
Late to the video here. But is there any substitute for heavy cream for those are sensitive to lactose?
For kicks and giggles I am gonna make all 3 for meal prep for the next few weeks, and actually make the alfredo with the right cheese lol
Bro it costs 9 dollars for a pack of butter for me
alfredo pasta is one of my FAVORITE homemade cheap meals. and it taste so much better than any restaurant
This makes me cringe as fuck I don’t like it
I wonder where he goes shopping
Like heavy cream is so expensive compared to what's written on the video
papp are dell eh, Josh
Love all your videos. Thanks for helping me cook. Keep up the videos coming !!🎉
he looks like if nick, charls and sam were fused together
Never liked these "plain" pasta dishes.
They just don't keep the hunger away longer than hour.
To the pasta al yoyo, you can add breadcrumbs or panco as well as some lemon zest and it tastes awsome
Then inflation hits…. Now its but poorer
0 emulsion on the Agio e olio

How about a pesto pasta?
💙

Respect for making these cheap dishes man. I'm sure alot including me appreciate this man.
You know, you could've just added salted butter and not bothered with adding extra salt.
Great practical Video, Thanks Papa! =D
He put cheese in the Aglio e Olio, this guy is never going to Italy
What can I sub for the heavy cream?
I've made the Alfredo recipe so many times, it's so simple but so good
