Thinking of a recipe for your canned goods at home ngayong quarantine? Here’s a sardine recipe that you and your family will surely love! Very easy 3-ingredient fried sardine pasta recipe with homemade garlic bread. Make one for your family this weekend or on any day that works best for you. Simple and easy to make, best of all, it’s budget friendly!

***INGREDIENTS (Serving size: 3 to 4)
-1 CAN 555 Fried Sardines 155g (Hot & Spicy)
-GARLIC (Finely chopped)
-PASTA (Spaghetti 300-450g)
*Optional / additional ingredient: Cheese

GARLIC BREAD
-3 to 4 slices of loaf bread (Cut each slice into 3’s)
-3 or more cloves of garlic (Depending on how strong you want the garlic flavor to be)
-2 to 4 TBSP butter

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
-Cook your pasta in boiling water (with salt and cooking oil) for about 9 to 10 minutes or until pasta is al dente
-In a pan, put a little sardine oil and saute the chopped garlic (Low heat)
-Add the sardines (All of it)
-Add the pasta and toss it altogether

OPTIONAL
-You can add some cheese if you want to
-You can season it with a little salt & pepper depending on your taste (The sardines is already salty in itself)

GARLIC BREAD
-Melt 2 to 4 TBSP butter into a pan
-Add in 3 or more cloves of garlic to infuse its flavor
-Transfer the melted butter and garlic into a bowl
-Using a spoon (Basting/Pastry brush if available) coat the mixture into your bread slices (Both sides)
-In a pan, let your bread slices toast in low heat (It cooks really quickly so be careful not to burn them)

PLATING:
-Toss a small portion of the pasta into a clean plate
-Side it with a couple garlic bread slices
-That’s it! All you need to do now is to dig in!
