  1. Alright, I have been experimenting with some BBQ sauces lately…so far this one takes 1st place. It's pretty mild with subtle heat which means the kids will gobble this up. I did use brown sugar and instead white, and instead of oil I used some smoked butter I already prepared. Instead of 1 TBLS of chili powder I used 1/2 TBLS chili powder and 1/2 TBLS of Lawry's Chili and Garlic. Lastly I used dijon mustard instead of regular. This recipe is a winner! Nice job!

  2. I really liked your recipe, however my daughter LOVED it!! I didn't have molasses so I used Honey & brown sugar instead along with green onions. I also used one small lime. I will be using your recipe from now on, it's much better than store bought. Thank God I came across your recipe and Thank you for sharing.

  3. Great Recipe , are you using Colgin All Natural Mesquite Liquid Smoke ? I can't take spicy so I might have to omit the chili powder . Will that change the taste drastic ?? How long will the BBQ Sauce last in the fridge once made and cooled ?

  4. Great sauce. 4 mods from me: (1) use a nob of butter instead of the oil – makes the sauce shinier (2) add juice of 1/2 a lemon – extra tang (3) brown sugar, not white and (4) don't bother blending – just cut the onions up small. In the UK, can't find liquid smoke either, so I omitted.
