The
Great tips video for ribs. Thanks for sharing. I have subscribed to learn more.
Wish I had seen this before I spent an hour trying to peel and cut it off.
Thanks so much!
Most fucking annoying process I've ever experienced, Somehow it never is able to catch the breaks I see everyone gets online, Is there a thaw trick or something because this is fucking insane. Spent multi hours on different occasions trying to figure this bullshit out. Never knew my worst enemy would be a rack of pork ribs.
Quick and simple instruction. Thanks.
wow, it looks like the trick is to use a paper towel. For me, I pull, it tears. I pull again, it tears. Then, it's a mess of skin here and there. I will try this next time. Thank you.
There is a much easier and faster way to remove the membrane, especially
if your prepping 60 lbs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKiTpHoCrnQ
This will take you to my channel for a very short tutorial
called bbq ribs prep. 67 seconds.
Wow! That really works!
1/2 sheet paper towel, don't use a napkin, start from the narrow end.
Worked like a CHARM! The 106 people that gave it a thumbs down probably shouldn’t be cooking or near a grill anyway.
My mom prolly never removed that membrane, because I always remember peeling and eating something with the texture of leathery parchment from my ribs as a kid.
Omg thanx soooo much what a sinche😘✌🌟💫💜🌟💫
Thanks for sharing your tips.
Thank you!!!!
But it's just bone back there.
Very nice! Thank you for only taking 60 seconds to show us how to do something other videos need three or four minutes for. You are a true good teacher!
Well thanks for a
Useless vid
Somone has never done ribs…. just score the back u dont need to pull skin. Just score it
for easy membrane removal try some catfish skinners! grab and pull! no slip! https://amzn.to/2YSxNi5
That’s what I do! Thanks!
I guess I don't have it.. because it NEVER works like that for me. I constantly breaks and tears and comes off in little 1/2" strips.
Just use a rusty pair of pliers and git er dun, the tetanus burns away with the heat anyways, fuck!
I always used a set of pliers. Usually one with a bigger head to grip plenty of membrane.
Whatever? I leave the skin on because it holds flavor, tender, moisture, flavor, and one of the best part of ribs, if you city stickers had any clue about smoking you would know! But I guess it's just a champion smoker thing???
Removing flavor so that's a damn noooooooooooooooo
Score the first rib on the small end with knife, pull with towel or small rag
I use that trick all the time. it would be easier if you started from the smaller end though
I find it easier to start from the middle
I should try this with my foreskin
Any easire way to do it is steam the ribs for 5 minutes, back only. Then take a spoon and peel away the membrane. its a lot quicker and easier than this method.
I find that if I start in the middle it is much easier.
Thank you! My son and his 2 sons are coming for dinner tomorrow. Baby back ribs is what i will be making. Timing of this video is perfect.
I start it with butter knife then rip the membrane off. Sharp pointed too often cuts thru is what I found long ago.
Always seems to break off into pieces when I use this method. I just ask the meat dept to remove it for me.
Ya, that looks easy alrite.
The trick is to get actual baby back ribs. Not spare ribs/ st. Louis ribs. There's a difference.
It's not skin, it's membrane tissue.
Leave it
