This is much better than hamburger helper. It’s a dish that I grew up on, the one my Mom always made.

INGREDIENTS
• 32 ounces Cavatappi Pasta
• 1 cup Red Onion (diced)
• 5 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
• 18 ounces Minced Beef
• 2 tsp Black Pepper
• 2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Nutmeg (grated)
• 1/2 cup Tomato Paste
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 2 tbsp Maggi Sauce
• 2 tbsp Yellow Mustard
• 1/2 cup Red Bell Peppers (diced)
• 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes (Sliced in half)
• 1 cup Grated Cheese (Parmesan)
• 2 tbsp Parsley (finely chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS
• Boil pasta until al dente and add some salt to the pasta water
• Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and saute onion and garlic
• Add the minced beef when it is halfway cooked add 1 tsp of salt, black pepper, 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, 1/4 cup of tomato paste, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire and Maggi sauce
• Once the beef is almost cooked, add the pasta
• Repeat by adding the same seasonings (1 tsp of salt, black pepper, 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, 1/4 cup of tomato paste, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire and Maggi sauce)
• Add yellow mustard and mix well
• Add diced red peppers, sliced tomatoes, grated cheese, and chopped parsley
