BASIC SMOOTHIE

•1 ¼ cup blueberries, preferably frozen
•1 medium ripe banana or use 1 cup frozen banana slices
•Half of a medium orange, peeled and quartered
•3/4 cup to 1 cup milk, dairy or non-dairy

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS

•1 tablespoon almond butter, peanut butter or cashew butter
•1 teaspoon chia seeds
•1 teaspoon hemp seeds
•1 teaspoon flax seeds
•1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

  1. I use a NutriBullet, start with a banana, a scoop of protein powder, frozen fruit mix, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, etc., blueberries from my backyard and almond milk and then blend. What resulted was tiny pieces of blueberries floating in the almond mix, looked like tiny bugs floating in the almond milk. Tasted good, just had to ignore the blueberries. 🤗
