This easy Cantonese chayote pork and vegetable stir fry recipe is a delicious and traditional dish that is perfect for busy weeknights. It’s a one-pan meal that is budget-friendly and packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

1 lb pork tenderloin, sliced
1 chayote, peeled and sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp white pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:

Heat a wok or large pan over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
Add the pork and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
Add the chayote, bell pepper, onion and garlic and stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper.
Add the sauce to the pan and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the sauce has thickened.
