Easy Chicken Recipes – Chicken Kabobs

Ingredients

1 pound chicken thighs or breasts cut to 1-in cubes
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
zest from 1 lemon
1/2 lemon, juiced
pinch cayenne pepper
pinch bell pepper, deseeded and cubed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Mix all the marinade ingredients together.
Cover the chicken well with marinade and leave it to marinade for at least 20 minutes.
Place the chicken on skewers: after every piece of chicken place piece of pepper and so on.
If you use wooden skewers soak them in water prior.
Pop to grill for 5 minutes then flip to the other side and grill for 5 more minutes.

  1. Usually I use yogurt, garlic, and curry powder to make chicken kebobs. Mustard is not a very popular marinating product in the Middle East. This must be the Americanized version but it does look good and I shall try it.

    Over here in the World we eat kabab or chicken kabab almost in every grill party the go so will with a tortilla bread and Tahinni some Lettuce !!! You should But Tomatoes and onion in the metal Thing !!! Cheers~
