In Australia this dish is known as savoury mince. It’s so good – I also add peas, corn & other veges I have on hand.
It’s lovely with mash potato or sweet potato mash.
Anything over you can make mince pies. Blind bake some short crust pastry – put the cold mince in & top with flakey puff pastry – egg wash the top & bake.
It’s amazing – Americans tend to eat sweet pies but downunder they are savoury (we have sweet pies too) – pies are huge downunder.
