A little butter in the filling would add some nice richness, maybe. a squeeze of lemon juice too

These turned out PERFECT! Def eat them with ice cream!!!!! Yum!!!! They freeze perfectly too!!!! So just make half batch. Save the other 4 for later!!!! Yum

After taking the turnovers out of the freezer, do you need to transfer them to another tray before baking so the cold pan doesn't warp?
