  1. Hi, I just found your website and I love watching all your videos. I’m interested in buying one of your beeswax bread bags. I noticed the one you have in this video with the chickens are sold out. Will you be getting any more in? I love chickens.🐓🐔🐣🐥🐤

  2. Robyn I’m not sure what I’m doing. Wrong. I follow the recipe to a tee even using a thermometer on my water. It rises in my bowl so I can punch it and feel the air leaving but once I put it in the lodge cast iron and leave it for 30 mins it doesn’t go over the top of the pan. Am I not allowing it to knead long enough or what?

  3. Ok… finally broke out the mixer my sister gifted me during Covid. I just made my first load from this video, so I can’t wait to taste it!
Question though… Can you use your exact same ingredients, but for making a wheat bread loaf?

  4. Hey Robyn, when people say low or 2 on the kitchen aid is that just clicking on once? I have mine sitting in the pan for the second rise but the first one I messed up and clicked my mixer on two clicks and I think it kneaded it way too fast. It never rose and really didn’t look mixed well. I just redid the entire recipe and so far so good. I’ve probably watched this video 20 times haha. So one click? Is that correct

  5. Made this recipe today, and your 1-hour recipe yesterday. They both turned out so well, smelled amazing, and tasted PHENOMENAL! Thank you! I’ve been looking for bread recipes that don’t have all the preservatives in them, and are healthier(not to mention reapplying my baking skills), and these are perfect! Thank you, and GOD bless you, and your family!

  6. Hi Robin, I went to ur website for this homestyle bread recipe but it shows slightly different amounts for a few ingredients so I came back to video to get ingredients, I just wanted to let u know but I did make this loaf & it was delicious, thank you!

  7. I've watched several videos on white bread making, but for some reason, they don't slice into theirs, and I'm left wondering about how many holes are really in their bread recipe. lol I love the look of yours, so I'm gonna try to make some soon. Thanks for the video.

  8. I don't know about others experience, but after making 2 of these loaves it takes well over an hour before the dough rises decently after I place it in the bread pan! I know for a fact that the yeast is fresh as I even proofed it and after kneading in the mixer the dough seemed to be the right consistency. Any thoughts on this issue?
Also, something I forgot to mention, is that I know it's not a matter of being cool in my home as I keep it quite warm.

  9. Dear Robyn, I have some great news and a very little bad news. GOOD news 1st. I have made your bread 10x and every time I take it to family and friends gatherings/dinner , I get rave reviews. Your bread is simply amazingly delicious every time I make it. BAD news. Now I am known as the bread man of the family/friends and I am forced to bring your bread everytime I come over. OK maybe that isn't such a bad thing. Keep up the good work, I will try to venture out making your other bread recipes.

  10. Made sourdough discard sandwich bread today and had to adjust with a little more liquid for elevation. Antique shopping and thrift store shopping this weekend. Found antique icebox made of oak and brass hardware in mint condition for 340 dollars. One on eBay was 1200 with 275 dollars shipping so I was elated, crescent table vintage excellent condition for only 40 dollars. Several brass pieces for my office in the new house. Love antique and thrift store shopping and it’s much cheaper in the mountains for some reason. Thank you for your recipe. I’ll be making more bread in the next few days when I get home
