I used a can of Rotel with cilantro and lime and some pickled jalapenos for heat…..yummy!
This for today – Super Bowl Sunday. I only need ground beef and cheese-got everything else! Although some corn chips and sour cream would be a nice touch! Love the view from your kitchen and absolutely love the beard!
Thanks Dave for this great recipe idea! I will use Salsa or Rotell to give it a spicier spin on this dish. The good part is I have all of these ingredients in my home. π
Looks good Dave. Have a good weekend.
Hy Dave. Looks like our moksi-alesi. We make it in a rice cooker. But I never made it with ground beef. So gonna try that coming week. β€β€
Dave my friend , great recipe & yes on us & the girls, my brother in law is married to a mexican lady with 3 daughters & they can cook some delicious mexican dishes & they are great cooks & we eat mexican food occasionally. I am going to use pablano peppers in my recipe, blister them in the oven under the broiler turning with tongs & when they are blistered & turning black , take them out & put in a brown " paper " bag from the grocer, roll down the top to trap in heat/steam for 20 minutes, take out & skin will peel right off , then seed & dice , then add to skillet , delicious. Going to have hominy with s&p & butter for a side, btw on the last recipe you said you liked the idea of green lentils & green peas as sides , it was green lentils with green " tea " to drink, lol , typo ? I would not serve lentils & peas as 2 sides on that recipe , lol. Keep your stick on the ice pal. Keep recipes coming. btw , the hillbilly/southern word for rice is swamp seed , a new word for you
Your Mexican ground beef beans look really good Dave! The chili adds a perfect amount of spice and the sweet taste of corn! π

I would want to make Canada great again if Justin Trudeau was my prime minster as well.
Looks yummyπ
Tasty.
I love this one. That's how we eat in Texas too. I definitely would have to grab some tortilla chips though π π.
If I were to send you a gift, it would be a meet masher. I don't have one either, but I think it would make our lives so much better. It's hard getting that meat besides that you want it sometime not only could you use it for meat, but you can use it for cauliflower and mashed potatoes, just so many different things.
Hi Dave it's so great to hear from you and great to see you again hope you and your family are doing well thanks for sharing this amazing food with us have a wonderful blessed day and GOD.BLESS YOU MY LOVING FRIEND AND MY BROTHER DAVE π΅π·πͺπππ
This really looks good. I think I'm going to make this later today.
The only changes I'll make are, I'm going to use a can of Rotel for my tomatoes. It adds a little bit of spice and also has some mild green chilies in it. Since I have jalapenos here they will be the pepper of choice. I recently made a batch of my homemade salsa which will go well with this recipe. I have some Chipotles in adobo sauce so I will probably put some of those in there as well.
Hi Dave…nice hat! I think I need to come to eat at your house. Gonna try this as it has all our favs. My husband went to No Frills this week and bought the $10 family pack of ground beef. Goodness! It was very lean and so tasty. So he went back and got 3 more. Broke them all up and put them in the freezer for later meals. We always used to get good spring beef. It made me wonder if that was what this is?
Omg that looks so good!π
