✨Ingredients✨
5 cups (450 g) rolled oats OR 3+2/3 cups oat flour
1+3/4 cups (150 g) quick oats
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
2 cups (500 g) plain yogurt 1,5 %
1 Egg (medium size)
👩🍳Instructions:
🔥Preheat oven to 390 F (200 C). Line a bread pan (8×4 or 9×5 inches) with parchment paper, or lightly grease with cooking spray. Set aside.
✅Grind rolled oats in a blender or food processor until they reach a flour-like consistency.
✅Mix dry ingredients. Add in oat flour, quick oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the yoghurt and egg and mix everything with a spatula. Then knead with a hands to make a smooth dough.
✅Form the dough into a round loaf about 25 cm long, roll the loaf in the rolled oats and seeds. ✅Place into the baking pan and bake about 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cake comes out clean
✅Allow to cool completely.
❗️Measurements Note: All recipes have been developed using weight measurements. Although US volume measurements have been included for your convenience, it is highly encouraged that you weigh your ingredients using a kitchen scale to get the best possible results. Due to the sensitive nature of baking, kitchen scales are proven to yield more accurate and consistent results than measuring cups. Enjoy!

I just made the break. I used sour cream instead of yogurt. All measurements are right, baked in conviction over. It did not bake in the inside. I baked it more after covering the face with parchment, still not baked in the inside. This is disappointing.
So i tried it and it was a complete fail.
It was too hard to eat. Idk what went wrong

That’s amazing, thank you so much for developing and sharing this great recipe. Having an entirely oat bread is actually really cool and I haven’t found anything else like it.
Can I please ask you for some advice? Whenever I make entirely oat bread or oat banana bread, almost always it ends up not baked through in the middle but overbaked on the outside. Do you have any idea of what I might be doing wrong? If it’s my oven, maybe you would know how I can figure out what’s exactly wrong with it? 😳

Looks a little dry to me. Maybe a little Unsweetened Apple Sauce for moisture? Maybe even raisins or dates.🕊
