So, I've been doing this for years
I add a little nutmeg and cinnamon to the filling and I layer mine in the reverse order–filling / pie / filling / pie / filling
Each layer gets a drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce and the final layer gets a light dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg and shaved chocolate
I have guests fighting to lick the bowl clean

Instead of that extra pie that could be used inside the dish I would have put an extra pecans on top and drizzle little caramel on top
