One of the things we love doing is finding great recipes for inexpensive cuts of meats. Oftentimes they produce some of the most interesting and delicious meals, and inspired by one of our favourite restaurants in Palm Springs, here is a simple recipe for Pork Carnitas.
Note: I’m not saying this is an original, authentic Mexican carnitas – it’s just a really simple, easy way to make a carnitas style pork filling for your tacos, burritos etc. Add to it what you like, and make it your own!

You talk too much
Looks like an authentic Mexican carnitas recipe! Thank You sir! 😂😂😂😂. No need to make a trip to the store if you’re out of garlic, lard, coke and evaporated milk….it’s all good….who cares how tia did it….
Okay, not traditional Mexican by any means, but you did cook the pork until tender. I might give this a try with some variations to produce the caramelization on the meat and with more traditional favor. I personally don't want to use a pound of lard to cook my meat. Thanks for the video.
Turns a three minute videie into nine minutes.
I like recipe. Back ground music, not so much 👍
If you like it like that more power to you lol but I wouldn’t serve anything close to that, that’s just me
White man carnitas.
thank you for the recipe & thanks for being the dad i never had
That looks terrible. No seasoning. No crispyness. No caramelization….awful

You talk too much
Lol at least you tried
🤦🏿♂️
I stoped watching this when he said just salt and pepper 🤦🏻♂️. I hate BASIC cooking. Lol. Kudos for the video.
1 lb lard (heat in medium heat)
add the pork (cook for 30 min each side)
add ingredients:
2 table spoons of salt
4 garlic cloves
1/3 evaporated milk
one juice of an orange (add the actual orange into the pot after squeezing out its juice)
8 oz room temp coke
cook for another hour or till fork tender
VOILA CARNITAS.
LMFAO these comments are RUTHLESS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You did it wrong ….
You need to stay away from "Mexican" food recipes. Only Texans or Mexicans can cook Mexican food with correct spices…it's in our DNA. Anyone "north" of the Texas/Oklahoma border can't cook spicy.
