PSA: DO NOT use fresh pineapple juice, the enzymes in it’ll break down the meat into inedible slop. Use the bottled or packaged pineapple juice that has been heat treated (the enzymes are denatured). Found this out the hard way 😢
Tried this and its just so good. Thanks!
Pilipini
1/2 – 3/4 cup sugar
5 cloves garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
15 – 20 drops red food coloring
1.5 tbsp kosher salt
1 tbsp black pepper
marinate for 2-3 days
Everytime i go to philippines i ask for that n longaniza because in spain we dont have that kind😂
This looks really good and I love pork but occasionally it makes me violently ill. Would this work well with any other meats like beef or fish?
u have garlic rice video ?
Hiw many kilos of meat ?
Boil and simmer it first
sarap naman home made tocino
gagawim din namin ❤❤❤
sharap naman
Yummy, thank you
But two or three days isn't too long for pork to marinate in the fridge? It can go bad no?
I’m actually eating Tocino
I can't actually find a recipe here?
Hi sir ilang grams po yung pork na ginamit mo sir? Thanks
What’s with the Philippines and pork/red coloring
Dammm buzzfeed ended up hiring this guy?? Congrats man, remember used to seeing his video on his own channel
Cant wait to try this.
Bacon = Salt
PH "Tocino" = Sugar
😐
This is "TOCINO", Filipino style. We call sweet pork "tocino" regardless of the cut, so don't be saying this is "bacon" in Spanish, in Mexico or whatever part of the world you are.
If that bacon is tocino for you then so be it, we are not saying otherwise but tocino to us is THIS.
Dod you add oil to the oan or just let it render out of the pork belly?
what's your alternative for pineapple juice?
