Red Curry Pasta w Jerk Jackfruit (Easy Recipe Anyone Can Make!)
Let the good vibrations slide in with this fire Red Curry Pasta w Jerk Jackfruit. (Basically Rasta Pasta with red curry) This is another remix to one of my favorite dishes I like to make when I dont have much time.
How many people love jackfruit? I hated it when I first when vegan, just like I hated mushrooms. Once I learned how to bring that flavor and build on texture, it was on.
Do you like green jackfruit or prefer to eat it when it’s ripe?
The recipe below, my friends!
1 can of coconut cream
1 1/2 TBSP of jerk seasoning
1 chopped red pepper
1 chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp minced Garlic
2 tsp red curry powder
1/4 tsp thyme leaves
3 TBSP olive oil
4 -5 cups of pasta
2 tbsp avocado oil
7 oz of jackfruit or plant-based chicken
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1. Saute minced garlic in avocado oil. Add jackfruit, 1/2 Tbsp of jerk seasoning, and a little salt and pepper to taste. Cook 6-8 min medium heat. Cook until the ends become brown and a little crispy. Place to the side.
Step 2. Saute Red peppers, green peppers, orange pepper, and minced garlic in avocado oil for 2-3 minutes on medium.
Step 2. Add 1 Tbsp of jerk seasoning, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Step 3. Add coconut cream cook, cream cheese, and red curry. Cook on medium for 5 minutes.
Step 4. Add cooked pasta and cooked jackfruit. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4. Serve and enjoy the vibes!
