Easy Rice Cooker GYUDON that needs NO Cooking | Yoshinoya Beef Bowl



This video will show you how to cook Japanese iconic Beef rice bowl “Gyudon” (also known as Yoshinoya beef bowl) with Rice cooker!! I think this is the easiest Gyudon recipe on the internet, but still tastes amazing!! Hope you give it a try!!

-Thinly sliced Beef (Chuck or Ribeye) 500g
-Onion 2-3 (400g)
-Ginger 15g (as peeled)

-Water 600ml
-Kombu 6g (Or 3g of MSG or Dashi powder)
-Sake 30ml (2tbsp)
-Sugar 10g (2tsp)
-Soy sauce 60ml (4tbsp)

  2. I went out and got the frozen beef rolls to try this instead of slicing up steak to make gyudon, which always ends up a bit too thick. Then I realised that my rice cooker is too small! Haha. Still works just as well in the pan as normal and now I have a thinner, more authentic beef so this has still revolutionised my gyudon 😀

  3. Ça a l'air bon 🤤😋. Avez-vous une astuce pour éviter que lors de la cuisson du riz à la casserole, cela ne déborde. J'ai essayée à plusieurs reprises et à chaque fois ça déborde, du coup j'ai abandonnée. Mais j'aimerais manger le riz cuit de cette façon pour accompagner avec… je ne sais pas encore 😅. Et peut-on utiliser n'importe sorte de riz?
