Today’s video is all about easy smoked pork tenderloin! After doing a few searches on YouTube, I realized there isn’t a ton of videos on pork tenderloin recipes, especially smoked pork tenderloin! This is a crying shame because pork tenderloin is absolutely delicious and is truly the filet mignon of pork!
Pork tenderloin recipes don’t have to be complicated. For this smoked pork tenderloin recipe I kept it simple. I seasoned the pork tenderloins with a base coat of Tailgater’s BBQ Party Rub, which is my go to all-purpose rub. The next rub I used was Mojo BBQ from Jay Durbin (be sure to check out the link to his channel below). Jay knows a thing or two about pork, and I figured his Mojo BBQ Rub was the perfect bbq punch I was looking for and I was right!
After seasoning the pork tenderloins, I fired up my Pit Boss Pro Series 1600 to 250º F. I ran Cookin’ Pellets Apple Mash pellets for this cook because applewood and smoked pork tenderloin go together hand in hand. I smoked the pork tenderloins until they hit about 130º F and then sauced them with one of my favorite sauces. Once the pork tenderloins hit 140º F internally, I pulled them, tented them in foil and let them rest for 10-15 minutes. The end result from this smoked pork tenderloin recipe was tender, juicy, and delicious! I highly recommend this pork tenderloin recipe, especially if you love smoked pork tenderloin!
