Easy Tandoori Chicken๐
This recipe needs no oven, no airfryer, no cooker! Yet, the chicken will turn juicy, smoky and so flavourful. This is a super simple recipe!! Do try it out!
Recipe:
– Prep up the chicken. Wash and clean the chicken and make small cuts in it. This will help all the masalas and seasoning to go inside the chicken.
– 1st marination : Salt, 1-2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder, 1-2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1-2 tbsp lemon juice. Allow it to rest for at least an hour. Drain off excess water.
– 2nd marination : Heat 2-3 tbsp mustard oil. Allow it cool down a bit. Add kashmiri red chilli powder to warm mustard oil. Make sure that the mustard oil is not too hot otherwise it will burn the chilli powder. Add 2-3 tsp hung curd,
1 tsp roasted jeera powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1-2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1 roasted kasuri methi, salt. Rest for 1-2 hrs.
– To a pan add 1-2 tbsp butter. Cook the chicken in butter. Cover and flip and cook.
– Once done, grease with melted butter and roast on direct flame until charred.
– Serve with green chutney and laccha pyaz!!๐คค
