Can you please make pineapple carrot cake recipe?
he got a new mixer color.
excuse me……where are the cake rings???
Yummy
Why no black cake 😢😠
That cake looks so delicious. Don't think my tummy could cope with so much butter and icing sugar. Might trade custard for filling and cream for the top and sides.
Perfection!! Again, John you show us how to bake an excellent cake! I have made serial of your cake recipes. Happy Month of March 🍀
Beautiful cake. Now it's Lent, not splurging but I'll make it for Easter!
I used my yolks to make a French vanilla ice cream to go with the cake
beautiful
Recipes are good. but he puts way too much sugar..
Would you do healthier dishes to make!! With more veggies!!!
How many Kitchenaide stand mixers do you have? I want the copper one, and can’t find it sold any more.
Really nice n delicious. 🙂😊.
Oh John, I was with you until you said American buttercream. I'm sure that your American buttercream would be better than the average but you just mentioned that the leftover egg yolks could be used for French buttercream. Why not do French buttercream with this cake then?
For those who cannot eat dairy, this recipe is very similar to my mother's recipe. The dairy milk has successfully been swapped out with almond milk or coconut milk in my family. Coconut milk gives it a subtle improvement in flavor and texture, too.
Thank you for the video🤤😍😍😍😍
I wish you did some Keto recipes I totally watch your every recipe/youtube episodes ….the food I can tweak but your absolutely AMAZING baked goods are harder…..Julianna NC

I am using homemade Vanilla Sugar. Not just wonderful to flavour cake but also pancakes and so many other sweet things. I will try this cake on Sunday.
I'm lactose intolerance but love cakes would like to see more lactose free cakes n frosting please
Sorry, another comment… just as an aside, since you bring your butter to room temperature in the wrappers, keep the wrappers for greasing your cake pans. Then you don't have to get out yet another stick of butter and use that. Just use the residual on the wrapper.
One reason that so many cake varieties became so popular in the 50s and 60s was because it was after the war. Rationing was over and people could finally get their hands on bigger amounts of flour, sugar, etc. So they went all out in making desserts that had been relegated to special treats previously.
Question……why use unsalted butter when ya gotta add salt…skip the middle man and use salted butter….why use unsalted?
from Amazon you can buy vanilla powder, its white and more common in Europe than here in America.
I love watching you and love your recipes. But I have to say, you take great strides to measure out your ingredients so precisely, yet when you add to the mixing bowl you are somewhat messy. Keep all your ingredients in the bowl and not on the mixer or the counter. Otherwise, keep the recipes coming!
Pllleeease ask your publicist to submit your book to the Texas Book Festival! Submissions close in May and we would absolutely love to have you here!
How many kitchen aid mixers do you own? Always admire your colors!
I just made this cake but turned it into cupcakes lol. My kiddos are going to wake up so excited! Also I only added 3 cups of powdered sugar to my icing it was the perfect amount for me. 👌🏽🧁
I can always count on your recipes to turn out. I am so excited about your new book. Thanks 😊for all you do.
I've been watching your channel for a few months now and I've tried so many recipes already and all of them were a big hit at home. Thank you for the videos and I would love to see a kitchen tour one day
You measured your vanilla 😮😮😮😮
