Eid Special & IFTAR Smoothie drinks Recipe in the month of Ramadan



This video is about how to make a delicious drinks for iftar in the month of Ramadan and eid as well. It is in English. Iftar is the food and it is the time when Muslim come to the the end of their fasting. It can be mentioned that iftar differs from country to country, but usually one food should be in common that is date because breaking the fast is the sunnah. The drinks has fruits, yogurt, ice cube, water, suger.. It is good source of vitamin and it is great for digestion as well. After fasting the whole day this kind of drink in the iftar energize one.   1. You can also use sweet, ripe strawberry. If you do not have mango, you can just add ripe banana or you can just use plain yogurt and sugar.
    Plain yogurt, sugar and water are added to make lacci drinks. It is delicious drinks too.
    Yes plain yogurt has active culture. It does not have gelatin. Gelatin is animal fat. You do not know what kind of animal they are using it might be pig, but any organic yogurt is fine. Please read ingredients of the yogurt you buy or you can make your own yogurt too.

  2. If you add ice to this drinks, you do not need to unless you drink it after a long time. It is better to drink it within 5 to 10 minutes, so its color remains bright.

  3. instead of water i used milk, and instead of ice cubes i used ice cream, and it was really yummy :D, but i left out the strawberries, so it became a milkshake instead of a smoothie 😀
