It’s been great! No regrets. If you take care of it, it should easily last 15 years. No rust, no problems so far.
Worthless video. So bad I had to leave a comment. We come here for the information. Not more videos and nonstop babble. Garbage waste of time video.
Does anybody have any experience or thoughts on the evedure ?
Another video by Weber
I buy everything based on reviews. Some said this was hard to put together https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt some guy said 2 hours and 2 beers later. I didn't drink beer like I was going to. I didn't feel like going to the store. I'm assuming I would have had at least 3. I took my time. Stepped outside for a cigarette break a couple times but all in all it was about a 3 hour project for me but it wasn't like it was difficult or anything . Only pictures but everything is pretty organized and labeled although I didn't see any #s on the actual pieces like it shows in the diagrams. Only the screws were labeled. On the cardboard part of the packaging on the back side. I put it together in my living room too. It wasn't supposed to rain today but it's Michigan and I couldn't wait so I put it together in my living room. Without beer but beer would definitely have made it more fun that's for sure. I'm giving this a 5 for easy assembly. I'll update after it stops raining when I can take it out of my living room and cook some food on it. Hope this helps at least for people who think they can't put this together because I did and you can too . And there are extra screws. I got nervous and immediately came here to see if others had the same experience and they have. You're not doing it wrong. There will be extra screws. Be patient. Don't rush it. Drink beer. Happy assembling
Great video. Is this the video that made you drink?
I know 2 years isn’t much for a grill but is this top 1 still the best option for a grill?
Got rid of my Coyote, a trash grill. Get you a Weber.
17:45 test it with a magnet usually most are not 304 stainless steel and if it is then its only the top lid and everything else will be a very low grade stainless and mixed with polished steel and low grade steel hardware
i like BBQ'S but WTF its like most grill manufactures completely fail to under stand how food is made and use thin metals, most grills have hilariously uneven heat zones with metal plates to heat up and create even heat… how about you get the grill to actually function before you add 6 or 8 valves and still fail to have even heat, if i was to design a grill the fire would cook the food.. not a heated piece of metal… its like a very inefficient type of gas coil stove.. make a hydroformed rectangle burner to fit the whole area of the grill drill holes every square inch or more to cover the entire surface area with little flames and then make the burner raise and lower like a smoker, and then you got even heating
Thank you for these in-depth review.
great video. is the 2023 prestige regular/phantom model different than 2022 in any small way because i see some places delineate between the two?
I want to know why wasn’t that asparagus wrapped in bacon? 😂
I have a big joe, pit boss lockhart and a blackstone griddle. Im really thinking about adding one of those napoleon 500 grils with the light up knobs but would really like to see on in person. There are no dealers around me that carry them and ordering one and not being happy and wanting to return them seems like such a hassle
"Napoleon Complex warranty" LOL, I see what you did there! Great review video.
with a Weber you can get parts everywhere and online.
I was about to light this guy up in the comments section about the Napoleon over the Weber until he mentioned the side sear station.🤣
Awesome and helpful but why was buddy out of breathe the whole video start to finish ? hahahaha
Hi there will please add the brightness in your Stadio
Is it mandatory to plug in the Coyote or is that just for the lighting? Thanks
Nice reviews, but please flip the bread the same way on each, it's clear to see the top/bottom of some is qute different, but when you flip top to bottom it's masking the difference! Thanks again though for your effort. Probably better to flip from left to right/right to left rather than front to back.
to much foreplay just get to the review brother
Just bought the Napoleon Rogue 525 Special Edition (Black).
It has this 15 year limited warranty that you mention, but I think all of the parts that really matter (the burners and searing plates) are of the same quality right?
The parts that have the longest warranty (15 years) on my grill are the exterior parts. The hood, side tables etc.
Anyway… this thing feels solid as a rock man !
Your videos are informative but please get some good lighting installed for your videos. Half the time I can't even see what you are referring to/talking about. I don't want to see shadows, I want to see the grill.
I’ve used stainless and cast iron grates
Cast iron is great for a few years but always rusts.. I season the cast iron and reapply oil every cook and use a grill cover. Cast iron never lasts..
there’s also almost no difference in the grilling
Cast iron is great indoors when you don’t have enough BTUs since you can heat soak it and keep it away from the elements. But outdoor grilling you have enough BTUs to not have to heat soak as compensation
I work with grills as a living and I can tell you, those Napoleon hoods, burners, and flavorizing bars are much more inferior compared to the Coyote ones. I would've easily put the Coyote as #1.
The quality of the steel used for the Coyote is top notch and flavorizing bars are great designs and quality. And yes, those burners are some of the best you can find. Much more efficient and reliable, burns evenly even after long time use, easily detachable for cleaning and repairing. All the components in the Coyote are very similar to expensive brands like Lynx and Vikings. The size is great also. Only being able to retract on one side for the Napoleon can get very annoying very fast and one little mistake of over burning will stain those "steels" forever.
You need way more light for this kind of video and in this location.
What's s good fireplace for basement. All I care is the look of the flame.
Why is this guy such an a**** to everybody
Cool video!
Awesome review – thank you.
Was going to go Weber but you’ve convinced me to go for the Napoleon Prestige 500 with the infrared side burner! Looks like a great piece of kit.
But $1500?!
No no no!! It’s $2500+ here in the UK!
Can you recommend a retail partner in the UK (assuming you don’t ship internationally) that can offer it for the $1500 price range?
Webers 2022 line up!
Some serious attention to details and end user function.
There is a good reason why they are always the #1 grill in most peoples back yard
Do you have a top 5 luxury sister brand? Such as Sedona, Hestan Aspire, Delta Heat, etc?
bash bash bash
Can you get the prestige with cast iron grill bars?
Therogood or Red Wing? Both good boots.
You made me choose Weber.. by far the best performance.. Napoleon had the most uneven heating://
U Talk TOOOO much
By the way, having the filthy grill at a grill store is gross. I clean my grill when I am done cleaning and clean the top and side tables till everything is perfect. And I have an aussie 400 dollar grill. But its a pride and food maker.. so it needs to stay clean. Clean your grill man.. its just pride in cooking on a grill.
I have an old aussie 4 burner stainess / full cabinet plus side burner grill. Been great for 15 years or more. But I am ready for a bit more quality. Your 500 to 1500 range works for me. I think more 500 to 850 is where I am comfortable. Quality burners / strong construction and good hardware and wheels are my main focus. Easy to clean grease trap and stainless grate …good thermometer is also on my watch list.
56 seconds into this video, which was titled the Best 5 Quality Gas Grills , you state you cannot make a "Top 5".
WTF
In Canada we make statements and stand by them.
Why can't you do the same?
Regards,
Kevin Tischer
I salute you
Excellent video. Thx
