  1. I have that mini stand mixer that's pictured on the right but in pink and it works really well. I bought that after my KitchenAid classic mixer unexpectedly stopped working after two and a half years. Plus, I live in a basement suite so it's a perfect size for that space and easy to move around unlike the very heavy one. I actually like the move the bowl lever because it is actually a huge help to get everything mixed in well.

  2. I've recently bought a kitchenaid professional and I've read the manual which states that it shouldn't be used more than 10 minute to knead a dough, it is not enough to make many dough recipe to be smooth and elastic, I've seen many cheaper Chinese home machines to run more than 17 minutes to knead a dough… am I missing something ? please advise

  3. Either this video was made well before June 2021, or prices have gone through the roof in a matter of a few months. I started looking for Black Friday deals back in October 2021 and the Mini was $349, on sale very very briefly for $279. If you blinked, you missed it. I just got a refurbished Mini from KitchenAid, $199, free shipping, free return within 30 days. Seems fine so far; I hope it lasts. I got lucky as my bowl came with a handle.

  4. I love my artisan Mini! I have 2 And have had them for a little more than 2 years and they have proven to be very durable and well made aid little machines. One of them is is in the honeydew color like the 1 shown shown of the other 1 is in Majestic yellow. Sadly kitchenaid recently killed the Mini and Because of the pandemic pandemic from China Kitchen aid stand mixers are in a much more limited supply which is caused the prices to go through the roof. I paid $200 Each for my Mini's and now they're going for over $400

  5. Adam is adorable. I had no idea these mini stand mixers were a thing! This was a good little video but I wish it went into more depth comparing the big kitchen aid with the mini. It was mentioned the mini kept up with the big one in all the tests but one… but didn’t mention which test.

Still a good video though! Thanks!

  6. You need to tell us what the one thing was that the small KitchenAid mixer could NOT do that the full size atk recommended Pro-series KitchenAid mixer could do. I mean, that could be a deal-breaker. Was it mixing bread dough that the small KitchenAid mixer could not do?

  7. After replacing the gears four times in my KitchenAid (later model) stand mixer, I gave up and went to a Kenwood (Though I am now well-versed in gear replacement). Best move ever. KitchenAid's quality took a serious turn downward of late, perhaps since Hobart's sale of the brand to Whirlpool.

  8. I never thought I would see the day ATK didn't know how to use a mixer. You move the bowl to where the beaters are near the edge and rotate the bowl on its lazy Susan. This allows you to scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
