The Bosch mixer that you reviewed is not their top mixer. The last universal plus is an easy access workhorse with amazing capacity. Please include that in your next review
Will you adopt me. I love you're work, the recipes, the execution , the humor.
I once asked my Grand Mother(the one who could cook) ,What makes a great cook? She answered," Do you eat to live or live to eat?" Isaid I live to eat(being 12yrs old) She replied that I would make a good cook. You all love to eat.
I have cuisinart 5.5 quarts and I'm happy with it.
I am not sure if anybody has mentioned it or not; this test would have been more telling/useful if the amount of flour was mentioned as well. I assume the same amount was used for all of them, which does not make sense to at all. These machines have different power and prices. The correct test would have been to use max recommended flour for each machine (optimum amount as per manufacturer) and then see any of them smoke or not. In fact we do have the Red mixer (400Watts) which has a rating of max 600 grams flour. It works fine for us with no hassle. I cannot get Kitchenaid mixer at 220V where I live, so I guess I have to get a Kenwood soon. I'll still keep the Red one though.
Kitchenaid quality has gone down. The more affordable models' internal gears are being made with plastic instead of steel now. The Bosch is a work horse, worth every penny.
Uh, where was the test? What were the other brands and what placed second? Did Kitchen-aid pay you?
210 dollars lmao it's like 360

My New Red KitchenAid stand mixer was a wedding gift (2003) that I thought I'd adore. But it struggled with cookie dough, especially after I added the chocolate chips. After a dozen uses it began to leak black oil from the ATM into the bowl ON TO THE DOUGH while mixing. I donated it with a note 'needs repair ' and two ladies commented to me that the newer kitchenaids were not made as sturdy and couldn't handle heavy use like the old ones. Does anybody have more information on this certain type of faulty KitchenAid? We just now bought a Cuisinart.
I like your channel but I rarely see Frigidaire on any test and kitchenaid always win. Are ya'll sponsors by them?
Why does America's Test Kitchen not include a GOOD Bosch mixer instead of the cheap version in your test? Why do you not include the Nutrimill mixer made by Bosch or the Swiss made Ankarsrum mixer — these 3 mixers all have OPEN ACCESS BOWLS? The only reason I can deduce is KitchenAide is your sponsor so when tests are done on your sponsors products America's Test Kitchen rigs the results because you EXCLUDE mixers especially open access bowl mixers. Again why does your Top Pick for Stand Mixers EXCLUDE good rivals to the KitchenAide mixer like a GOOD Bosch Mixer (not the low end Bosch mixer used in your review that is a JOKE), a Nutrimill mixer (made by Bosch) or the Ankarsrum mixer — all OPEN access bowls??? The only conclusion I can deduce is America's Test Kitchen only wants to include stand mixers that will fall short of KitchenAide, your sponsor. If my conclusion is INCORRECT, please explain!
They look cute, but the Frigidaire ESTM020 is terrible. Beaters and attachments do not go low enough into the bowl and are not adjustable. Take this one off your list of options to buy. I completely regret wasting my money.
I was expecting ratings from top to bottom…not only the best. It would have been good to know the next best– and so on. )—:>

The Hamilton Beach mixer is hands down the best bang for your buck mixer! I love mine! And it is only $70!
sheesh that mixer used to be $210?
I have both the KA classic and the Bosch compact and have retired the classic in favor of the Bosch. First, the splash guard does NOT have to be in place for the mixer to work. Further the opening in the splash guard is only for adding liquids. My Bosch does NOT walk around the counter – the suction cups hold, even when kneading a couple of loaves of dough. And the Bosch does a much better job of kneading dough. It really works the dough rather than just spinning it around like the KA. And I appreciate it’s small footprint and how easy it is to lift.
This is clearly a commercial for Kitchenaid even down the lame informercial style (seriously with the B&W cut scenes). There's no footage of any "testing" by these "experts". Just them talking up their sponsored model & talking down the rest that aren't even named. The video should be labeled for what it is, an advert for Kitchenaid.
The KitchenAid Classic appears to cost about 50% MORE than what you claimed, which makes the other mixers look like a much better value.
inexpensive seems to have been skipped on your testing ! Cheap BC-3220 Betty Crocker ! $60 . Nope not a $300 mixer !
I need to find a place to re pack the grease it leaks so I cant use it ,Don't want that in my food ..
its baffling why Kenwood mixer is not tested
