buy America made
They are giving wrong measurements for coffee and you dont need tospend over $80 for coffee I use 1 scoop for every 5oz of coffee!!!! all that crap about temparture and taste is a fraud also if you are adding 2 tbs to 6 oz of water you are over filling and making it too strong…its like wine you know what tastes right to you this video is very missleading
I have two Moccamasters for well over 15 years and they are in comparable to any machine I have ever owned. They were gifts but I would go out and replace them immediately. BTW my mother bought the ATK recommended Bonavita from the manufacturer and 6 weeks later it stopped working – the manufacturer said there is no guarantee. She replaced it through Amazon and it stopped working correctly after 6 months. If you buy the definitely inferior Bonavita buy it from Amazon where you can return it. But if you want it to last for years – something ATK doesn’t really test for- buy the Moccamaster.
Call me old fashioned, but I refuse to reheat my 2nd and 3rd cup of coffee in a stupid microwave every morning!!! Heating plates are conveniently for the manufacturer left out of the design of these trendy high end coffee makers. This is the very reason most people buy mr coffee-type makers!!!! ATK doesn’t address this problem.
fast forward almost ten years and… Moccamaster is still one of the best in the business. I own one, the KBT741. I love the more manual experience. Very much enjoy reinfusing myself. Such a beautiful machine! Timeless classic. Having said this, really impressed by the 8 cup OXO. cost half the price, has lot of neat features. Would I sell my 741 for it? nope, but if I was in the market now and wasn't a fan of Technavorm, I'd give the OXO a very hard look. Great vid. Thanks!
Reading this in 2022 is insane when she says the Technivorm is expensive at $250…same model is almost $400 now
Mention top 3 but only talks about 2👎
It's heavy to move around the kitchen counter, but that is not a real issue MyBest.Kitchen Unit can remain on all day creating an "instant coffee" situation. Go for it!
The link for the coffee maker takes you to a ball of string lol.
My small Mr. Coffee and large coffee press make fab coffee without all that huge razamataz.
This woman sounds like a great reviewer

With the Moccamster, stirring the grounds while in the filter basket makes a noticeable difference in flavor. I was finding this coffee harsh no matter the grind and found the shower head was essentially pounding a tunnel into the grounds in the same place, over-extracting that area and leaving the rest untouched. I now start the brewer with the carafe out and let the filter basket fill up with enough water to just stir a slurry, no more, then slide in the carafe. Much better flavor. The Moccamaster gets the time and temperature perfect, but you still need to get the grind right for best flavor, and this stirring tip to fully wet the grounds is pretty much essential, I found.
The whole point of the Breville machine is to grind and brew at the same time. You basically just ignored all that and stuff pre grinded coffee in it and say it's crap.
btw, your thermometers are using the correct units, Celsius!
The moccamaster is too large for my countertop
Interesting..I've had the Breville you panned for the last 6 years. It is finicky but the coffee is fantastic once dialed in
You didn’t mention the Bunn..
The Bonavita is garbage! Stopped working after 3 months
This video is severely outdated at 8 yrs old. Would love to see an updated one, especially with a Breville Precision Brewer.
9 years old, time for a revisit.
If u think these coffee makers are expensive, wait until you wana buy a good espresso machine
$299 for a coffee maker? 😮
Reviews are too old to be relevant
Don’t some like bitter coffe?
Top class trader Joe's natural nature reserve master temp encourage this market's.
Moccamaster for the win!
Can you please test the breville coffee maker? It's fully programmable unlike the bonavita and the mocha master.
