  1. Espresso is obviously and clearly superior but they are nowhere near equal in cost. A coffee shops espresso machine is thousands of dollars, and from what I understand, a cheaper machine does cause the quality to suffer. So for that reason… Coffee! Though I am curious about the cheaper manual espresso machines… Does anybody have an opinion that you can get a similar espresso to an automatic expensive machine?

  2. Espresso would probably be too strong for me. I'm content with auto drip but for the love of all things holy, DO NOT MAKE PREGROUND COFFEE! A burr grinder with humble Eight O'Clock Columbian Peaks (100% Columbian) WHOLE BEAN coffee freshly ground… yup that's just right. And yes it needs to be the Columbian Peaks one cause their regular medium roast has no flavor. With Columbian coffee I don't need a flavor syrup or extract (almond, peppermint, etc.) With Columbian coffee it has delightful subtle flavor notes so I just need my usual sweetner and half and half.

  3.
