Never put sesame oil in before you cook. It should be the last thing before you serve.
I use a crockpot liner. That much sugar will sometimes burn on the bottom. I'm allergic to washing dishes if I don't have to. Lol.

AB I made this and it was amazing. One thing I did different was to add half a teaspoon of orange flavoring. It gives it a nice orange flavor with the orange marmalade.

A little disappointed that when you were adding the liquid and spices that you never named them or gave us any indication of volume of them. It looks fantastic.
The cornstarch is totally gangstah. I used to make corry cheeken with diced chicken breast, and when cooking long enough to get the onions soft, the chicken would end up tough and "overcooked". Coating everything in starch and then browning them, I could cook everything forever and the chicken would stay soooooooooo tender and delicious.
Man, I'd just dump the rice right into the crockpot and eat it all wit a spoon.

bummer, this did not work out for me at all. the chicken was so wildly overcooked after three hours on low in the crock pot. also the sauce had a burnt flavor event though I did have it on low and did mix it half way through. I did everything exactly as shown. I think it could have just pan fried them until they were cooked thru then put the sauce on, not sure how 3 hours of slow cooking is supposed to do anything good for tiny little cut up pieces of chicken tenders.
