Puff pastry is a highly versatile product that isn’t talked about as much as other staple ingredients. One of it’s great uses is to make savory tarts! Normally this dish takes over a day to make, but with puff pasty on hand you can do it in an hour.

Those are some cut rate salad bar tomatoes in December! But yumm! In general this looks great
Forget puff pastry. I'm going to stretch out Sam AKA Mrs. Supahead
Du Four. The only brand worth buying, IMHO.
This Home Cook Kept This Underrated Ingredient in His Freezer For Years (possibly a decade)
Is it still good?
I wish I saw this last week. Thank you.
I only recently started using frozen puff pastry when I wanted to try a Food Wishes recipe fore "chicken mushroom strudel". It looked and tasted amazing, and like Sam says of her tart, it really does seem like something that took much longer to make. After tasting the Pillsbury puff pastry, I was surprised to learn that it didn't have any butter in it at all. It has the kind of richness that implies butter. Great product.
I like the goofy 🤪 Sam, too. 😊
Puff Puff Pastry.
I just don’t appreciate ATK trying to milk more money out of us by introducing these bogus extras like “classes”. Come on, guys. You already have all the info you’re touting for “classes” available on ATK, from pie doughs to cheese to caramelized onions. It’s superfluous and greedy and gross.
I've never seen caramelized onions with such nasty looking texture; blecchh.
How simple is that!? With the caramelized onion base of deliciousness, pop of acid with the tomatoes, and added creamy cheese, I'm in!
Thank you!
I ❤ Sam.
This was simply marvelous.
I would eat that!
I am the world's worst baker but I am willing to give this a shot.
