I’m sorry you guys wanted the reverse seared chicken to win but we all simply agreed that the fried chicken was more exciting to eat in general than a plain salt and pepper chicken. We’ll try to pick stuff you guys like but the goal is to be authentic as possible when voting. Good news though if you wanted the reverse seared chicken to win here’s how you can combine it at home: make the reverse sear recipe, make either piccata sauce (the emulsified or traditional) and dress the reverse seared chicken after searing it, resting, and slicing. If you make the traditional piccata sauce, just be sure to deglaze the pan after searing and follow the same steps in the recipe here. Hope that helps! Love u!
Who gave the white dude a platform (the dude on the left). Get his useless tastebuds outta here
Just tried making the "artisanal fried chicken" and ohh boyyy… Josh and the crew did not lie… fucking DELICIOUS!
I’m sure if I had cooked these, it would be zeroes across the board lol
Love all of your videos! Just gonna say, the 1st guy makes me hmmm …..way different end of the judge scale compared to the other 2. I didn't count his opinion after a bit. Like what does the poor guy normally eat? 🤣Sorry guy, no hard feelings.
I prefer grilled chicken over fried. You lose the chicken taste when it's fried, idk, I grew up on a farm. 😅
Your mate on the left is weiiiiird 🤣🤣
Ok, I figured it out. My man on the left had a really shite cook for a mother. He is just used to eating trash chicken.
Guy on the left just fucking ❤️s chicken.
I have a quick question, what do you call cooking chicken on a flat top and steaming it with a cover? Do you just call it what it is or is there a name for it? More importantly, what's the general opinion?
If remy was human
8:13, why still not providing metric, loser
I'm not saying you're not a good cook but if my mom saw this video she will chase you for life😂😂
Bro that's the worst way I've seen someone cooking chicken in tagine like that so far, I'm Moroccan and ngl this is not the way you're supposed to cook it.
12:27 Papa no math correctly… No kiss for you
What kind of skillets do you use?
The american taste is so predictable. I was just off for a couple of these methods.
The person in the middle has always been a tough judger
You need to try Pollo Milanesa. If done with the right amount of breading, it’s amazing. I know a couple of people in San Antonio who’s Milanesa knocked me out
Piccata over butter chicken? Heresy!!!
I love this study, Josh! Hands-down, my favourite would be the fried chicken. Years ago, I developed a technique of adding minced onion to the flour coating. When fried, it adds that sweet, caramelised "onion rings" flavour. It's really good. I would encourage you to try it. Cheers!
This is as bad as your steak every way 😢
Very light brine? What’s the point then? Come on man your a chef heat up your brine, dissolve your salt, get the aromatics going… 🤦🏼♂️
I love my George Foreman grill. When cooking chicken breast, one needs to pound the piece until it is the same thickness throughout, lightly oil it, and leave off any sugar containing seasoning as it will burn. Finally, figure out the right cooking time to just get the chicken safely cooked without overcooking.
The first guy needs FIRED
What the heck Joshua, why didn't you include the DRY brine with the brine vs no brine? Would have been nice to see how that fared? What about sous vide in the same liquid you used for braising (just thinking of the possibilities).
What about prepping chicken to make shredded chicken?
Dude does every american throw sugar in every meal?
Thanks alot bud ik im late lol 😂 but appreciate it😊
NOOOO I WANTED CHARCOAL GRILL TO WIN 😭 charcoal grilled is my favorite for just about anything
18:28 made me cry papa
pizza oven looks like a mailbox 😂😂❤️
So why the butter chicken and the beloved chicken tajine gets NONE which is basically the essence of Moroccan food 😢
Interesting and informative. Thanks!
Guy on the left truly has the weirdest taste buds
What a great concept to create delicious food! Fried chicken piccata! Crazy good!
Not using spices for Tandoor chicken and then disqualifying the chicken seems like a big unfair to tandoor.
Right off the start… why not use a simple salt wet brine. Second. What about dry brine????
Braised scored a 19 not a 21, 8+4+7=19 they just put 21 for some reason
Hey.. Where’s My Chicken Abodo? 😢😢
