Just eat the whole damn tomato
Take one of those nostrils from piping bags, works like a charm
They’re perfect too for taking the silver skin from the back of fresh ribs.
I used it with strawberries too
Nope I'll stick with my knife and no I don't need to make several cuts I just flick my wrist and my knife cuts all around the core…….
Several cuts around the core? This is bad info. I’ve always made an incision around the core and glided the knife around the top of the tomato. Holding the knife still and spinning the object. Really simple.
tomato coring might be easy for you to do with a regular paring knife, but remember disabled people exist! you dont have to buy this if you get by with a knife but dont knock accessibility aids
I use this tool on strawberry stems as well, works great.
I do this with a pairing knife. It takes me just as long as it shows in this video but it does take some practice to learn hiw to do it.
I cheat and use a grapefruit spoon. Multitasker. Trying to make Alton proud. 😄
I Iove your channel ♥️
4 inch paring knife and your thumb will get it done just as fast.
I hold a sharp paring knife flat against the knife. Put the tip of my thunb in the center and spin the tomato. It cuts a cone out.
Used this tool in a restaurant. Go through an entire box of tomatoes in a couple minutes. 👍
I just cut them while I also cut the tomato.
Use for strawberries too
truly
At my job as a Chef at Crackr Berral I smell each food item before giving it to a waitres. I sniff as hard as possible so I can smell your food before you eat it. Sometimes my nose touches your food if I get to close. You are eating food that has been sniffed by me hard
