Instructions –
1 cup filtered water
1/2 nopal paddle – preferably frozen

about a cup of fresh pineapple chunks
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy this at anytime of the day. Do not exaggerate with nopal because it can cause diarrhea.

When I moved to Mexico I had crazy high cholesterol, which led to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I also had IBS, arthritis, borderline blood sugar and was clinically obese. The locals (my Nutritionist, MD, grocery store owner, etc) told me to eat nopales. I have a raw nopales smoothie everyday. I have lost 40 pounds, blood chemistry is good and arthritis and tummy problems much better! It does not taste good…like raw green beans and cucumber. But not terrible. Adding fruit is just a waste of good fruit. The trick is to blend and drink fast, before the slime has a chance to gel. The slimy juice is like aloe vera, but that is the healthy part! Nopales is life changing!
I love your videos they are so helpful and informative!!
