Thank you for watching my first time smoking on a Traeger smoker video. I put this smoker together and I can confidently tell you that this Woodridge Pro is a well designed smoker. There are so many well thought of features and benefits. I was really impressed with the results of the brisket I smoked. The new Woodridge Pro also has a smoke feature that I have yet to try.

Thank you for watching my Traeger brisket video! If you enjoyed this video, check out this popular stuffed pork loin video next. https://youtu.be/T7PofiNeh9I?si=yE94flXFltZxYYbb
Another Master Class on BBQ.👍👍👍🔥
Nice job
Joe. That treagar. Did a great job..
Bought one of traegers top-of-line "smokers" and it doesnt compare at all to my off-set.I returned it after 2 cooks Might as well put on a womans apron and cook in the oven if using a traeger lol
Can somebody explain to me the science/ reasoning behind holding a brisket?
Could you do a video on sharpening your knifes? Loved the video!!
You are a pitt master, Joe. You are an inspiration. Love your channel.
What do you do with the 6 pounds you trimmed off at the beginning? If you paid $80 and ended up with 5 pounds of smoked meat, that seems expensive to me.
I'm hungry now 😋
Easy but it also removes any and all skill from the cook. Offset is the only way.
Good looking brisket Joe. Can tell you liked it the way you deep throated that flat…LOL
Don't think I would trade my 5 year old CampChef for it though. It has cooked many ribs, pork butts and briskets. No complaints here.
Great Video but I’m about to order a Lone Star! Can’t beat good ol American Made Muscle!!
Joe, love the channel. I have learned plenty of useful tips from you.
And you’re not the only YouTuber who has complained about the price of brisket. It’s getting crazy.
Yoder, Recteq or Lone Star Grillz are way better than Traeger. Traeger is garbage now. Its down there with Pit Boss. I highly encourage everyone to stay away from Traeger these days.
Now need the comparison to yoder ys640 or lonestar pellet of i could only get one?
Best pellet combo I’ve come up with in 20 years of using them is about50/50 mix of Royal Oak Charcoal pellets and Jax Legendary Blend. Outstanding flavor and good smoke flavor compared to other pellets.
Great video as always Joe! But as I watched this video all I could think about is the “ Smokin Pecan vs Traeger” video but I also was like noooo not Traeger Joe is the Yoder an Lonestar guy. I was hoping the next grill would be a “Recteq rt 2500 “ just because its one of the biggest pellet smokers on the market. But all jokes aside great video looking fwd for more videos stay blessed!
Texas style brisket requires a real fire with post oak .
Do you have a link to that knife? I really like that. I didn't see it above. Sorry if I'm too dumb to see it. 🙂
that looks good
That turned out fantastic! Watching you trim and slice is so satisfying👍😊
Love my treager too just ease of use.
Joe, when are you going to post a video on the proper way to cook smoked cabrito?
I think brisket is way too expensive for the amount of waste there is!
I also replaced half of my salt with Lawrys.
I remember only about…. 7 or 8 years ago you could still get a 3 meat plate for like $10. But as tards flooded Texas with way too much money wanting to LARP as Texans, they're like the Mr Washy Asian character from Family Guy and they put Texas stickers & insignia on everything they own, etc… they started buying BBQ every freaking meal. I think they probably fund these people like Goldees & they started paying any price for BBQ so places started jacking up prices, buying more meat which meant prices for brisket could/had to go up. Sucks for all us Texans. BBQ is one of the most crooked industries in existence.
Now you tell us. I’ve already ordered my Lone Star Pellet Grillz!😂😂😂
I love my Traeger, I need nothing more.
Great job Joe! Question: Once wrapped, why not just finish it in the oven? That way you would save on pellets.
