I got an enameled Lodge Dutch oven twenty years ago, and use it often, but the white enamel has discolored and is not as "non-stick" as it once was. I've never used metal in it, so I think it's discolored or burnt on, not scratched. I've tried the boiling water and adding baking soda hack, which helped, but not enough. I recently wondered what it would cost to get the inside re-enameled. Any other suggestions before I do that?
Is the Thermapen® ONE for meats and candy or just one or the other?, thank you.
The spatula is NOT flexible to clean contents from a jar.
Knife sharpener next please 🙏🏼
If the eraser is good on oven glass stains, it would have been nice to pick a clip showing it working instead of one showing it not working. That may just be me, though.
Thanks you, Cutie Pie! 😊
How do you clean the INSIDE of a toaster oven….my Breville is a horror!
In another America's Test Kitchen the Mr Clean – CLEAN FREAK was mentioned. Which is better, the Clean Freak or the Magic Erase?
This honestly feels like a re-tread of several previous videos. I am a person who likes product showcases but trotting out the exactly same video a dozen times is pretty disappointing from such a large channel.
Just make sure you get the special ATK thermometer that always stops at the correct temperature and never goes over
Top 5 kitchen items I cannot live without: chef's knife, cutting board, Dutch oven, potato peeler and spatula.
Thank you very very beautiful
Bought a cheap digital thermometer from Amazon and it works just as well as my Thermapen, plus the battery lasts longer.
I'd like to add a mandolin. It's very versatile. Great for slicing, grating, juilenneing
I leave the last bit of mustard in the jar. Add oil and vinegar, shake, and viola. Salad dressing ala Jaques Pepin.
Question: Where do one buy a boning knife? Bed, Bath & Beyond does not sell one (though they have a comprehensive section of OXO products), nor does Target or even Walmart. We no longer have a kitchen wares outlet like Letcher's.
Yup, I have them all…
Wow – I thought I was going to be able to say, I have them all – after all, I've watched you guys for years.
Alas, I don't have a real dutch oven yet. It's on my list, just haven't been able to justify the cost.🤨😶
That thumbnail is… Poorly censored..
Panini.
You forgot a good fire extinguisher. They are like sex, size matters.
These kitchen tool videos are my favourite. Saves me on figuring for myself which of the millions out there are reliable. I aim to have a kitchen that is mostly ATK stocked.
I couldn't live without my scale. I bought it for coffee but it quickly became useful for everything
I would totally agree except swap out the Magic eraser for Tongs.
That boning knife is like a fish fileting knife. Could be used for both!
Have a tiny garbage can on your kitchen counter for small scraps like onion peels, or egg shells.
Melamine foam, melamine formaldehyde, is a known health hazard in certain conditions. It is definitely toxic when inhaled or consumed. Regular use inside an oven or other cooking vessel would guarantee leaving a residue. I think I'll skip this one and just continue to use some elbow grease instead. YMMV
I don’t know if I would call a thermometer underrated
Thanks! Love these too kitchen items!
