For the best results, I recommend using a kitchen scale to measure ingredients in grams, as this gives the most accurate and consistent outcome. But if you don’t have a scale, no worries! i have include cup measurements and ounces so you can still follow along. Thanks
Ingredients:
Water- 450g, 15.85oz, 1.9 cups
Instant dry yeast- 2 tsp, 6g
Honey-1 tbsp, 15ml
Salt- ¾ tsp, 5g
Extra virgin Olive oil- 40ml, 3 tbsp
Bread flour- 500g, 4 cups, 17.65oz
Toppings- basil pesto, olive, salt flakes ( Toppings are endless ,add whatever you like, completely your choice.)
methods:
• Start with water in a large bowl. Add yeast, honey, salt, and olive oil. Whisk together.
• Mix in bread flour until the dough looks shaggy and sticky. Cover and let it rest.
• Do stretch and folds with wet hands. Repeat a few times until the dough becomes smooth and airy.
• Let it rest again for the final rise until it jiggles. Grease or line a baking tray with olive oil.
• Gently transfer the dough and stretch it to fit the pan.
• Preheat the oven.
• Drizzle more olive oil on top. Dimple the dough with your fingers.
• Add your favorite toppings — herbs, garlic, olives, or pesto. Bake until golden and crisp.
• The inside will be soft, airy, and filled with big bubbles.
