  1. The method of washing with a salad spinner seems a bit off to me. Why not immerse them in water with the basket in the bowl, which is what it’s designed for? You still can be gentle with them, just immerse them a few times with changes in fresh water like rice to ensure they are clean.

    Americas Test Kitchen

    INGREDIENTS

    2cups mixed berries, cleaned and dried
    4 oz simple syrup
    8 oz pomegranate juice
    4 oz elderberry liqueur
    2 750ml rosé

    STEPS

    1) Combine all ingredients into a pitcher. Cover. Let meld in the refrigerator for at least 2hrs.

    2) Chill glassware.

    3) Serve over ice.
