thank you for showing in detail how to prepare the squid. I wish I paid more attention to my mom's cooking when I was younger. Now, since my parents are in a different state, its hard without a visual demonstration when she explains how to do this.
Hi what if I don't have tempura batter mix? Is there any other way to make the batter?

My Dear Mai .. you are a gem. I am so glad you showed how to clean calamari. I hope I make you laugh with this little story. A few weeks ago my daughter said I am comming for dinner mum. I said no problem, what would you like. She said calamari please. (It is hers & my sons favorite fishmeal but I make it italian style with breadcrumbs) I said ok but I would like you to watch me clean calamari. She said cool mum, we can cook together. Needless to say she was shocked when she realized calamari do not swim in the ocean as rings. Thankyou dear for the video. Yes my daughter still will eat calamari but will get the fishmonger to clean them 🙂
