  1. Hey Mz.Paula! First I wanna thank you so much for teaching me how to cook.I was 32 when I started to learn how to on the stove. You just made it intimidating for me & FUN! I still learn more from you because you are an amazing inspiration to me! Thank Again! I do have a short recipe for Lumpia that my mom taught me & I thought I would share it with you.You might have guessed I am half Filipino. Here it is…2 lbs. Ground Beef, 1c each Carrots (diced),Celery (diced), & Medium Onion (diced).Lumpia wrappers( available @ the Oriental Store). Cooking direction: Brown & drain off the Beef, using the same pan sauté the Carrots,Celery, & Onions, until tender & add in beef fry for another 5 minutes. Put in a bowl big enough to hold everything.Separate your wrappers as you go, be sure to keep the unused covered with a lightly damp paper( to keep them from drying out, otherwise they get brittle).Once they are rolled up, fry in a skillet for 2-3 minutes over medium – medium low heat. Serve with Sweet-n-Sour sauce or Soy Sauce.Or my dips his in Sour Cream.Yum!
I used to help my mom make for all our family gatherings & EVERYONE Loved them. They would even request them. Once they are rolled you can freeze what you want to save for a later date.Up to 1 month, although ours' Never lasted that long.Lol😋😋Hope you Enjoy as much as we do!
