  1. Thanks for the video. Just wanted to ask , when you use gluten free flours like these and millet or seed flours or bean flours, do you need to mix them so that you are using a few different flours ? Could you not just use one flour and add a gluten replacement like xanthum gum or paylium husk ? Really interested to hear your point 😊

  2. Alyssa, so glad I found your site! I’ve been making sourdough bread for years but I’ve recently been trying to find a good gluten free substitute…I do have some of the flours, I definitely plan to increase my flour base! How long do you store the flours? Do you refrigerate them?

  3. So on your almond flour bread on the you tube you said "tapioca starch" and on your website, the written recipe you put arrowroot powder, which is it?
Or can I use either with same measurement?
Pls. Answer . And thank yoi

  4. Thank you so much for sharing these awesome nutrient dense, protein dense, fiber dense magical little loaves! I made the first one for my sister and it was the first bread she has been able to eat in 30 years that didn't make her head feel like it was spinning. She felt good after eating it! Quinoa is amazing. You are amazing! 😘❤️🤗

PS I subbed chickpea with one cup of sorghum flour and I subbed the 3/4 sorghum flour with 2/3 c. oat and 1/4 almond flour. Came out beautiful.

  5. A friend just told me her daughter was just diagnosed with celiac disease. I immediately told her about your website and channel. I don’t have celiac but prefer to eat gluten free most of the time and have been following you for a a few years and you have great recipes.

  6. No eggs?
    No milk?
    No wheat?

This has been the perfect vegan loaf of bread every time! Easy in the breadmaker.

Into a dry side mixing bowl:

    1 Tbsp. active dry yeast

    1 Tbsp. sugar

    2 tsp. xanthan gum

    1 tsp. baking powder

    1tsp. salt

    2 Tbsp. ground flax seed

    Into the breadpan:

    2 c. water

    1 ½ Tbsp. oil

    1 tsp. cider vinegar

    2 ½ cups Gluten-Free Flour Mix (BRM – Bob's Red Mill)

Then top w the rest of the dry ingredients from the mixing bowl.

Setting 9, gluten free loaf, on the breadmaker. Mine is a 2hr 30min cycle. At 35min the spinner stops, and I can take it out for the baking portion. Cuts to slices much nicer!

As it mixes, scrape down the sides, probably only once.

If too wet, add 1 T coconut flour.

If too dry, add water or alternative milk.

  7. Hi Alyssa. These look sooo yummy. Can I substitute the chickpea flour, potato starch and coconut flour in these recipes? I'm shouldn't have these 3 ingredients. I love your videos. Thank you so much for demystifying Quinoa for me. I'm still learning.

  8. Hi. My GFree bread no yeast:
buckwheat 500 g soak for 2 days under 2 cm water for all the time.
Mix in blender, add salt and anything you like. If its too watery add some oats. It has to be thick.
Then bake in owen for 50/60 min in 200°C untill its golden brown on top.
    Try and enjoy.
    Thanks
    Eve 👍
