1 cup = 250 ml; Tbsp. = Tablespoon = 15 ml; tsp. = teaspoon = 5 ml; g = grams
Ingredients:
1 Kg Crabs
1 cup Grated Coconut
8 Dried Kashmiri Red Chillies
6 Peppercorns
2 petals Star Anise
1 tsp. Poppy Seeds
1 tsp. Coriander Seeds
1 Mace
1″ Cinnamon Stick
6 Cloves
½ cup Onion (sliced)
½” Ginger
8 Garlic Cloves
1 cup Onion
¾ cup Tomato
Curry Leaves (few)
Cooking Oil
Salt to Taste

Serves: 4 -6
Preparation Time: 30 mins

  18. OMG love love love another Xacuti recipe and close to the version I have.. I have to use lobster or any other large shell fish as I've now in my older years have a slight reaction to crab, I stop breathing which is not good, which is a pain as I adore crab. Anyway Fatima just love and maybe one day you might see me cooking on the beach when this dreadful situation goes away. Anyway have a great New Year. I'm writing new recipes which I used to do and this new lockdown has given me the impetus to write and revisit food from all around the world.
